Dr. Ako R. Hama , is prominent Kurdish academic and Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering currently based in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He currently holds a professorship at the University of Suliamania and the Komar University of Science and Technology and is widely recognized for his extensive academic contributions to the fields of wastewater management and environmental sustainability. Dr. Ako Rashed Hama has built a structured engineering background through Iraq's top technical institutions.Formerly spent several years in leadership positions at the Faculty of Engineering, including serving as the Head of the Dams and Water Resources Engineering Department (2011–2015) and chair of civil engineering department at Komar University of Science and Technology (from 2015 onward).
